About Us

We are a local Body of Believers that have been gathering since 1866 at this location to Worship our God and spread the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Long before there was any Methodist "Societies", Sunday Schools, or church edifice of this denomination in this region, the Methodist "Itinerant" appeared, preaching in the groves, barns, and private houses and holding revival.  The Methodist preachers came through the southern part of Huntingdon County as early as 1795.

In 1866 a small frame church was built on the site of the present church Sanctuary.  This church was used until 1885 and was replaced by the present brick building.  In 1926 a Sunday School building was added to the back of the church.  We are still standing going into 2025 Worshiping our God and spreading the good news of Jesus.
